Looking for a few good men…singers, that is.

Sing with us

Sing with us

North Reading Community Chorale is looking for more singers for this season’s upcoming performance, Spring-Sing, to be held on Saturday, May 21 @ 7:30 pm  and Sunday May 22 @ 4:00 pm. We rehearse on Mondays  7:30 pm to 9:30 pm so we have about 10 or so rehearsals left.

Some of the pieces we will be performing are Paul Basler’s Alleluia, Being Alive, from Company, arr.  Mac Huff, Blackbird, by Lennon & McCartney, arr. Brymer, If Music Be the Food of Love, I’m Gonna Sing ‘Til The Spirit Moves My Heart, by Moses Hogan, Seasons of Love from Rent, arr. Emerson, Shenandoah arr. Erb, plus others.

We welcome all voices but we would love to have a few more male voices to balance the sound. We offer practice CDs and/or dropbox links to .mp3s to help you learn the notes.

In the past, high school students have earned their community service hours serving with us, as we are a not-for-profit which raises funds for scholarships. See if your school will allow you to sign with us and help us out with our performances.

Please feel free to come to our next Monday rehearsal at 235 Park St, North Reading MA 01864, the hall at Aldersgate UMC.
